New Status for Formulation Development Laboratory in Tampa

May 2006, Tampa, FL-Tampa based formulation development laboratory, Xcelience, is making a mark- branching out from its former parent company, MDS Pharma Services, to lead its own formulation development processes.

Rolling out a new look, new identity and new name, Xcelience President and CEO, Derek Hennecke says, “The laboratory is looking to the future, focused more than ever on excelling the science of formulation development.” Xcelience isn’t changing the core of its scientific processes, but is concentrating on the analytical, preformulation, formulation, manufacturing and stability services provided to clients. Hennecke says this split will serve a great purpose for clients worldwide. “The split will allow us to focus on the area of pharmaceutics and devote all of our attention to our sponsors and give them the best possible service in this field.”
